Birchbox Unboxing, March 2016

This past month has flown by, and if I’m being honest I haven’t even had a chance to try out the items I received in my February Birchbox. However, this month was a good one and once again I went with the pre-curated option so it wasn’t quite as big of a surprise. When I saw Smashbox, Kiehls and a fun face product to try all in one box, I jumped at the chance.

So let’s take a look at the items that Birchbox picked out for their “Ready for Anything” box.

Birchbox Ready for Anything Unboxing

One of the items that drew me to choose this box was the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream – I’ve heard such great reviews about this brand, and it’s always good to have an extra moisturizer that I can turn to.

The next item that I was really excited about was the Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads from Wilma Schumann. I love having pamper sessions, and even though you get one use out of a cloth mask or eye pads, it’s just so fun to treat yourself every once in a while. I can’t even say that these items work for me, but it is more of an experience where I can relax and enjoy a calm Sunday.

And like the moisturizer, I can never have enough heat protectant sprays – I’m excited to give the PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Smoothing Blowout Spray a shot.

Smashbox is such a great brand, and even though I feel like I have a million neutral eyeshadows kicking around, I couldn’t resist picking up a mini of the Smashbox Photo Op Eyeshadow Trio in Filter. This is a great addition to keep in a travel bag, and will work well for making a brown smokey eye.

And then lastly, when I saw the teensiest tiniest lipstick known the man I just had to laugh. The MILK Studios lip color in C.R.E.A.M. is adorable, and will be a staple in my purse makeup bag. It will basically take up as much room as a quarter, and is a great nude color to wear into spring.
