Birchbox Unboxing, November 2015

I’m a huge fan of Tati from Glam Life Guru on YouTube, I’ve been watching her channel for years! And I knew that this month my Birchbox would include an eye crayon from her new collaboration with Birchbox, so I was so excited to dig in when I got that pink box in my mail. And let me tell you, it does not disappoint!

My box is full of brands I have never tried before, and I’m happy with the variation. Let’s take a look at what I got!

What I got in my November Birchbox:

LOC One and Done Shadow Stick in Impress Me

Starting off with Tati’s product, I was able to choose between a lip or eye product from the newly launched Love of Color line – I chose Impress Me, which is a “deep rose gold” eyeshadow stick. To me, the color is a lot more copper-toned, but it’s still a perfect shade for fall.

On YouTube, when Tati introduced this line she added swatches on her hand while expressing how creamy and pigmented the product was, and later demonstrated how they were budge proof. Though I trust Tati, I was a little skeptical. However, I tried it out on my own, and she was being 100% honest! This is truly an impressive product. I will definitely consider purchasing more in the future!

Make Face Gloss

Anyone a Tyler Oakley fan? I can’t help but giggle at the name of this brand thinking of an episode on his Podcast, but regardless I’m excited to try this product. I’m assuming the Make Face Gloss is a highlighting cream, but I’ll definitely have to give it a shot to see how illuminating it is. I think this will be perfect going into the holiday season.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

I’ve never tried anything from the Living Proof brand before, but I’ve heard great things so I’m happy to have a sample of the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo. Really, you can never have too much dry shampoo!

Templespa La La Lagoon Aromatic Bath and Shower Gel

I don’t know that I’m all that excited to have a shower gel in my box, but I will definitely use it up. If I’m being honest, I’m not a huge fan of the scent of La La Lagoon, but perhaps it will be a little less strong in the shower.

Liz Earle Superskin Moisturizer

The last product in my box, and perhaps the best is the Liz Earle Superskin Moisturizer. Again, I have not tried anything from this brand, but with the cult classic cleansing balm, I have heard great reviews. I’m a bit sensitive in switching moisturizers, so I will likely stick with my First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream during the day, but this thick cream looks like it would be good as a night cream.
