Sample Sunday: Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

It’s been a while since I’ve been immediately impressed with a skincare item, but I’ve now been converted with the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos(TM) Glycolic Night Serum which I picked up in a Play! by Sephora box. This serum includes AHA/BHA to gently exfoliate and resurface skin while you sleep. It will help to even your skin tone, wipe away dullness and refine your pores for a clearer, brighter complexion.

After going through the sample size, I have purchased the full size product which retails for $90. Based on how long it took for me to go through the sample, I know that I’m going to get my money’s worth from this serum. I have struggled through the dry winter months with small breakouts, redness, and dry, dull skin. After using this serum for around 3 nights, the redness on my forehead was gone and my skin was looking so much brighter!

Over around 2 months of use (yes, the sample was that large!), I saw a reduction in spots, softer smoother skin, and less buildup of dry patches that my skin is prone to. This serum cut down on the number of times I had to use an exfoliant, and made my skin more receptive to my moisturizer leaving it softer and more supple. If you struggle with fine lines, this is going to be a great choice for your skin.

This high-tech gel resurfaces dull, congested skin, gently lifting dead skin cells away by gently dissolving the glue that holds them to the surface. The results are greater clarity and a smoother, more even-toned complexion. Formulated with a dream team AHA/BHA blend, T.L.C. Framboos™ sinks in easily and delivers effective chemical exfoliation without the harsh side effects like dryness or sensitization.

I’ve heard many great reviews on the Drunk Elephant skincare line, so I was very happy to branch into this line through a sample. I’m now even more curious to try out other products from the brand including their Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum and the popular Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. If you’re interested in trying the brand, they offer great sample-sized kits for reasonable prices (and are also included in some Sephora favorites kits as well).

While the brand does not claim to be all-natural, they do avoid using harmful and toxic chemicals in their products including dyes, alcohol, phthalates, synthetic fragrance and more. All ingredients included in their products directly benefit the health of your skin, so there are no unnecessary fillers.

D.E.’s mission is to deliver clinically-effective, clean skincare formulated with both cutting-edge synthetic and natural ingredients; and without the ubiquitous toxins, sensitizers and irritants, such as the disruptive essential oils, that block the pathway to healthy skin.

All-in-all I am very impressed with the night serum, and definitely want to try more from the Drunk Elephant brand. After I use up my current day serum, I think I’ll be adding Drunk Elephant to the list!
