I received a bunch of perfume samples in a Sephora haul, and I have to say – they picked a killer selection! So far every scent I’ve tried I’ve been in love with, including Elizabeth and James Nirvana White.
There’s been a lot of buzz around the Elizabeth and James Nirvana scents, and I’ve been wanting to try both for some time. However, I’m currently on a fragrance hold until I can finish up some of the bottles in my current collection before they go bad. But, since I got this sample it offered a great opportunity to try out the scent without having to commit. So far I’ve loved Chloe Love Story, and now I can add Nirvana White to my wish list as well.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is a captivating blend of delicate peony, chic muguet, and tender musk for a feminine scent with dark sophistication.
I really love the scent of peony, but find that it can almost be a bit much when it’s not toned down a bit. However, Nirvana White includes just the right amount of musk to balance the sweet floral of peony, and makes for a mature, beautiful scent without being too spicy. I tend to gravitate towards florals, so this is definitely a win for me.
What I also loved about this sample was that it had a very fine mist. I felt like it covered a larger surface area, which helped it to last a bit longer. I spritz this on my neck and wrist at 5am, and will catch the scent well into the evening without having to top up.
Plus, the bottle of the full size is really chic – I love the slim bottle with the textured white pattern and gold detailing. It makes for a lovely addition to any dresser, vanity or shelf.
I really loved this perfume, and definitely want to try out Nirvana Black as well.
