As soon as March hits I’m in full-on spring mode (even though it’s definitely still winter here in Vermont). This year the trend that I’ve been craving is embroidery. There’s something about embroidered embellishments that makes me think of warmer weather, and this year’s take on floral embroidery is right up my alley.
Naturally I did a bit of digital window shopping to find some of my favorites, and I just had to share my top choices. Topshop is especially killing it in the embroidery game! If you’re like me and you’re a sucker for the embroidery featured on Gucci pieces, you’re going to love these more affordable spring options.
Embroidered Pieces for Spring:
ASTR The Label Constance Dress
This boho vibe dress is perfect for spring time when the warmer weather starts to hit. While the embroidery on this dress is subtle, it would pair so well with a denim jacket and lace-up heels in any color. This is the type of piece I would recommend for any capsule wardrobe.
Topshop Reena Embroidered Sandal
Shoes like this are what kicked off my initial obsession with embroidery. In the winter season I was in love with the Gucci Princetown Loafers and the Rebecca Minkoff Bojana Embroidered Suede Block Heel Booties, and this strappy pair from Topshop is perfect for spring. Pair with jeans or with a skirt for a pulled together, romantic look.
Topshop Embroidered Kimono Shirt
Kimonos aren’t normally something I’d go for, but this top reminded me so much of one that Tess Christine wears in her Havana vlog (she is absolute goals), that I was absolutely drawn. I’d wear this open with a black or olive green top underneath, or tied for a beachy vibe.
Topshop Jamie Embroidered Skinny Jeans
The Topshop Jamie Jeans are a crowd favorite, and now that they’ve included these Gucci-esque embroidered rosettes I’m an even bigger fan. I think this basic denim style is a great starting point for those who want an embroidered piece, but don’t want anything that’s over the top. The subtle nod to this season’s trend is perfect for daily wear.
Topshop Ivy Flower Embroidered Skirt
I envision this skirt popping with an all-black outfit. I would pair this with a black long-sleeve top and black ankle boots for a pulled together Parisian vibe. Plus, if it’s still chilly in your neck of the woods, you can pop on some black tights as well.
Jeffrey Campbell Ravis Flowered Loafer Mule
I think I’m going to have to pick these loafers up. They’re everything I ever wanted in a shoe! I love grey and white paired together, the tassels look gorgeous, and the white embroidery mixed with leather accents is just stunning. What can I say, I’m in love with these loafers :)
Lush Floral Embroidered Off the Shoulder Top
For the traditional spring vibe, this off-the-shoulder top is perfect. The floral print and slightly green-toned shade remind me of Easter. Mixing a couple different trends, I think that this top speaks for itself and would be gorgeous paired with understated denim and gold jewelry.
Seychelles Sunshine Slip-On Shoes
To continue with the relaxed vibe, these slip on shoes from Seychelles will be perfect in spring and summer. I think these kicks would be so fun with this season’s raw hems and floaty tops.
Lovers + Friends Over the Sea Off the Shoulder Blouse
Whether you’re going for a casual or put together look, this top is another capsule wardrobe staple. There are so many different looks you could go for! Pair with a floaty pink skirt for a feminine look, black leather leggings for something a bit more edgy or with denim as the model has for something a bit more casual. The cut and fabric of this top make it perfect for pulling together so many different looks.
Alice + Olivia Riley Embroidered Chambray Miniskirt
I’m a sucker for chambray, and this miniskirt from Alice + Olivia is covering all of the bases. What I love about this skirt is that it can help to bring in a fresh, youthful vibe. I could love how this skirt is styled on the model, it’s exactly how I would wear it.
Topshop Embellished Hem Straight Leg Jeans
These jeans from Topshop bring in a ton of detail without being crazy. I would wear these casually with a black top and sandals for a spring go to with a touch of flair.
Needle & Thread Flower Foliage Embroidered Bomber Jacket
I don’t find bombers to be flattering to my figure, but for this jacket from Needle & Thread I might have to make an exception. The over the top floral embroidery is feminine but cool and would also pair with so many different looks. I love how the model is wearing it with all black, but I would also pair with a soft white cotton tee and jeans. It would also pair well with a dress in any color that is featured on the jacket. While it’s a busy print, it actually works with so many different styles.
