Sample Sunday: Nourish Organic Pure Hydrating Argan Face Serum

More and more I am turning to natural beauty lines to get the job done, avoiding some of the harsher chemicals that I used to rely on. For a long time I’ve been wanting to try products from the Nourish Organic beauty line, and so I was happy to give this generous sample of the Pure Hydrating Organic Argan Face Serum a try.

This highly concentrated face treatment is designed to deeply hydrate and reveal smoother, softer and more supple skin with improved tone. Moroccan Argan oil, packed with restorative omega fatty acids, intensely hydrates and replenishes. Apricot kernel oil moisturizes and softens skin while helping retain clarity. Rose hip oil smoothes skin texture and helps even out tone.

What I’ve found is that this serum is very hydrating, and gives the skin an oily sheen that is hard to cover up. I tend to only use this product at night, or very lightly in the daytime. The benefit of this is that it’s so hydrating, that I usually skip out on a moisturizer because this does it all.

For my nighttime skin care routine, I start off by removing my makeup with the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and warm muslin cloth. Next I use cool water to rinse off any excess, and lastly I will apply the Pure Hydrating Organic Argan Face Serum and my favorite eye cream. At the moment, I am loving the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum.

Should You Buy the Nourish Organic Argan Face Serum?

Nourish Organic Overnight Serum and Creme I have very dry, finicky skin. I have a hard time finding products that are hydrating enough for my skin while still soaking in quickly. Many ultra-wear creams are so thick that they do not sink in and do not provide instant nourishment. I find that the opposite is true of this serum – the oil base is truly delightful on the skin, and gives my skin a glowing boost overnight. If you have dry skin, this serum is perfect for you.

On the flip side, I feel that people with normal to oily skin would also enjoy this product. Again, it does leave a sheen, so it’s better for nighttime use, but I don’t feel that it is thick or would clog the skin. It’s very hydrating without being too much for the skin to handle.

Other Perks of Nourish Organic

The main perk of this product is that it gives beautiful results without the harsh chemicals that come along with many other face products. The ingredients in this product are all very nice, and organic as the brand’s motto:

Organic carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Nut Oil, Organic Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Organic citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Organic Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Organic rosa canina (Rose Hip) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E)

The fragrance of this serum is also very enjoyable, and has a soft, citrus scent as most argan products do. The scent does not tend to linger on this skin, which I also like. All-in-all, there’s not a single thing about this product that I do not like.

Even the price is agreeable, at $24.99 for .7 oz, this is very competitive to most all serums you will find at Sephora. Really, between the great prices, gorgeous packaging, healthy ingredients and admirable mission statement, I cannot wait to try some more of the Nourish Organic products.
