It’s been a long while since I’ve done a Sephora haul, which might be why I went a little crazy this time. I am absolutely in love with the items I picked out, and was able to buy a few gifts in the process as well. I left out some items for a future post, but let’s take a look at what I picked up, shall we?
Sephora VIB Sale Haul:
Too Faced le Grand Chateau
The item I’m most excited to dig into is the Too Faced le Grand Chateau gift set. The set includes 3 separate palettes, each with 6 different eyeshadows and 1 cheek product, and a miniature of the Better than Sex mascara. There’s two things I really love about this set – One, I like that it’s a bunch of smaller palettes instead of one giant one. I find that I’m more likely to use a palette the smaller it is. Plus, this is much easier to store. Two, I think that the color selection is SO wearable. I’m not all that adventurous when it comes to color, but this set gives me a few fun options while sticking primarily in the neutral zone. LOVE IT.
NARS Pencil Sharpener
I’m beginning to buy more and more lip pencils and eyeliners that don’t offer retractable pencils. I wanted to pick up the NARS sharpener because it offers a larger hole for lip crayons and shadow sticks.
Fresh Lotus Eye Gel
I’m currently using the Philosophy Time in a Bottle for Eyes serum, but am finding that it’s not as moisturizing as I’d like. I picked up the Fresh Lotus Eye Gel because it seems like it will glide on easily as a gel, but claims to be pretty moisturizing. Plus, I love that this comes with a pump. For $48 I am actually pretty surprised at the amount of product that comes in this packaging. I think I will really enjoy this.
Caudalie Lip Conditioner
I’m a huge fan of the Caudalie line, and though I love their Lip Conditioner, I purchased this lip balm as a gift for my boyfriend’s mother who is also a fan. If you’re looking for a quality lip balm that comes in a stick form, I highly recommend Caudalie.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
Since I had free shipping, I also picked up a backup my holy grail moisturizer, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. This moisturizer keeps my dry skin healthy and glowing into the winter months. Plus, I love that a decent sized bottle is only $12!
Bite Beauty Mix and Mingle Lipstick Duo
Just like the in-store aisle of doom, Sephora adds little recommendations to the bottom of your checkout page. My thought process was, “Oh right, I’ve been meaning to pick up some fun dark lipstick shades to try out, oh look, Bite Beauty, I’ve heard such great things, oh 2 for $14, plus I have a 20% discount? That’s like drugstore price. Sold.”
But, all joking aside, I’m super happy with the Bite Beauty Mix and Mingle Lipstick Duo in Scarlet/Mullberry. As you can see from the swatches above, they’re super pigmented, and glide on effortlessly. I think these shades will be absolute perfection for holiday parties.
Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in “Love in the Dunes”
I love that the Deborah Lippmann nail polish line is 5-free of harmful chemicals. I picked up the shade, Love in the Dunes to give as a gift to one of my coworkers. This purple tinted mauve is so beautiful for fall into winter.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Oil
Last but not least, I picked up the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Oil as a treat for myself. I wouldn’t normally spend this much on an oil, but I’m in love with the Neroli Portofino scent and am not quite ready to shell out $220 for the perfume. Plus, I’m on a moisturizing kick – I’m usually so terrible about moisturizing daily, so I’m encouraging myself with a more luxurious experience. There were mixed reviews on this oil, so I took a chance. I’m really hoping for the best on this one!
