Keep Summer Going With These Tropical Favorites

It’s officially August…. the beginning of the end… of summer, that is. Already I’m seeing deep burgundies and knit sweaters when in my heart all I want is a pina colada and a day at the beach. Well, I can’t stop time but what I can do is make the most of summer while it’s still here, and the best way to do that is to boost up the coconut and fruity scents while they’re still on the shelves so while everyone else is gearing up for colder weather, I’m in denial-land and loving it.

If you’re like me and you can’t let go of summer, these are the products you’ll want to pick up to make summer last:

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess

The be all, end all… you HAVE to pick up Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent while it’s still being sold. This limited edition summer scent is my absolute holy grail. It’s got that perfect mix of coconut, banana and tropical fruit that smells similar to your childhood sunscreen, but more grown up. Plus, the bottle is so cute that it’ll make you feel the summer vibes just looking at it. Albeit, this isn’t the longest lasting perfume, but the scent is just so nice that it’s an all-time favorite for me.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

This little taste of tropics in a jar is pretty new to my collection, but already it’s become a top favorite of mine. The Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is infused with guarana extract to help combat cellulite and other blemishes to the skin, while also having the most beautiful, lasting tropical scent. It’s a pricy number, but I love that it has a slight shimmer, and the coconut and vanilla scent is very strong and long-lasting. It can definitely replace your perfume.

Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner

For my hair, I’m in love with the Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner and Shampoo. Not only does this line make my hair smell of coconuts all day, but it also packs a hydration punch. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and shiny, and really does a lot to mitigate the damage of heat styling. This is a line that I will continue using throughout the year – love it so much!

Yes to Coconut Ultra Light Spray Body Lotion

At first I picked up the Yes to Coconut Ultra Light Spray Body Lotion because it came with a spray nozzle that I thought would be convenient and easy to use… However, not only did my spray nozzle break, but I just thought it was a pain in the ass. But, I still continue to worship this lotion because it smells so good, and it applies so nicely, keeping my skin hydrated and smooth. Because the Sol de Janeiro body cream is so expensive, I use that on my legs, and use this body lotion on the rest of my body. I pour it out of the bottle as I would a normal lotion, and apply it quickly and easily with my hands. Not the dream application I had in mind, but the end result is well worth it!
