It’s been a while since I shopped Zara since there isn’t a store located near me, but on a whim I logged on and immediately fell in love with their Fall shoe range. I had to pick up some of my favorites, and while they skip US size 7, (which is of course my size) I took a chance and picked up my favorites in a size 6.5.
I was thrilled with the quality and fit of most of my order, and I was so excited to do a haul for you all. My computer has been at the shop for repairs, so I’m very excited to be back in action with a haul! So, without further ado, let’s look at the items I picked up!
First things first, I finally snagged the suede crossbody bag with the semi-circle buckle that I’ve been eyeing for a while… I couldn’t resist the Gucci-esque appeal of this bag. This will be absolutely perfect to pair with autumn essentials, but would also work with winter evening outfits. It’s a small bag, but I do think I’ll get a lot of use out of it. Plus, the chain and hardware are such good quality – I am seriously impressed!
I also couldn’t resist the Chanel-style block heel pumps with black and cream contrasting suede details. I thought these would be the perfect addition to my daily wardrobe – pair with jeans or with a skirt for a feminine, Audrey-approved look. Plus, you can’t beat the ease and comfort of the lower block heel. These are already a staple in my wardrobe.
I also picked up a pair of ankle boots with a similar style – they have a white toe cap and leathered buttons up the side. I keep going back and forth as to whether I will keep these or return them, as they’re gorgeous and such a statement shoe, but the way that they sit on my ankle it’s impossible to bend. I’m not sure I could walk in them! Ah, decisions decisions.
I also picked up the leather ankle boots above, which are a lovely burgundy shade somewhere between brown, black and maroon. These are the ultimate fall piece, and I’m so glad I picked these up even though they were to most expensive pair from my haul. They are real leather, and have a stretch detailing which adds a lot more texture to the shoe. The toes are pointed, but not too pointed – they’re perfect in my opinion. I am super happy with these boots, but the one thing to keep in mind is that they edges do rub at your legs. I prefer to wear these with tall socks to avoid this.
Again, loving the Gucci shoes of the season, I was happy to pick up this affordable pair of loafers with beautiful embroidered details. These loafters are really the star of this haul – they’re so much better than I could have imagined. The velvet is incredibly soft, and the gold thread contrasts so nicely with the oxblood velvet. These are definitely a statement piece, and I’ve already had so many compliments on these shoes. I do hope that I can make the soft velvet last!
And now that I’ve seen how high quality Zara shoes are, there are so many other pairs that I want to pick up. I will (grudgingly) hold off on buying more shoes at the moment, but that won’t stop me from online window shopping. Here are the pairs that I would also LOVE to own:
- Velvet high heel ankle boots
- Buckled high heel shoes
- Contrast leather high heel shoes
- Velvet loafers
- Elastic high heel ankle boots
- Platform sandals
- Velvet high heel shoes
